My passion for animals and agriculture began early in life, growing up on a grain farm in rural Saskatchewan.
I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015, earned my Masters degree through the Animal Welfare Program at the University of British Columbia in 2019, and completed my PhD in Veterinary Epidemiology through the University of Guelph in 2023.
I love project based work and have experience in quantitative and qualitative methods to answer broad research questions aimed at improving animal health and welfare. I have also worked with small and large animals in veterinary practice and currently can fit in as a locum to cover small animal general practice appointments.
